Lil Wayne set to drop new album titled Funeral.

Lil Wayne’s Funeral album that he’s long been teasing finally has a release date, and it’s coming sooner than you think. Weezy took to Instagram on Thursday (Jan. 23) to share that the anticipated LP will drop next Friday, Jan. 31. Weezy posted a clip featuring an unreleased snippet from a track possibly introducing the album. “Welcome to the funeral/ Closed casket as usual,” he raps on the ominous beat. He didn’t add much clarity to the project outside of the release date. Wayne previously told fans that Funeral would arrive in February, so things are a bit ahead of schedule.
